Sean O’Malley tells Fanatics View he’s already pictured it in his mind repeatedly.

Sean O’Malley (12-0) is quickly proving to be one of the most sensational and promising up-and-comers in the UFC. In his latest outing against Eddie Wineland (24-14) at UFC 250, “Sugar” continued to impress with his second consecutive first-round stoppage.

With less than two minutes into the opening round, O’Malley put Wineland out on his back with a straight right hand flush on the jaw. The one-punch knockout earned him performance of the night, also his second in as many fights.

Joe Rogan went on to tell O’Malley that it was “the best walk-off knockout he’s ever seen.”

“I love when Joe Rogan is commentating,” said O’Malley. “It makes fighting, for me, a lot more enjoyable. Everyone kept asking how I was gonna feel with no one watching. As long as Joe Rogan and Dana White are watching, I’m good. I’ll be there, and I’ll perform. For him (Rogan) to say that, it was awesome. It definitely meant a lot.”

Seeing the potential in O’Malley’s abilities as a fighter early on, Rogan also predicted he’d be the next UFC star. But if you ask the young UFC flyweight, it’s not a matter of if; but when everyone sees it.

“I’ve been a star for years,” said O’Malley. “It’s just like, more people are realizing it. All it takes is one fight to kind of see me fight. And people are gonna be like ‘damn I wanna watch him fight again. I’ve been a star in my mind for a long time.”
